This holiday was pure relaxation to the highest level. The cabin itself was much better then expected, comfortable, clean and everything you could want from a short break. The park is in a perfect location away from the everyday hustle and bustle. I've only been back a day and we're looking to book up again, perfect for couples wanting time away together. Overall the word I would use to describe this break is PERFECT!

This was our first time to Thanet Well and it will not be our last. The lodge was fantastic, well equipped, and the location was superb for those wanting a peaceful base to start from. The staff were most helpful on arrival and leaving, and we will be coming back with friends in tow as well next time!

Location was a bit remote but this added to enjoyment as site was peaceful, quiet and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Very comfortable facilities and hot tub was a nice wee luxury.

This holiday was excellent, we all had a fab time. Lodge was amazing, hot tub even better. We went for my friends 40th birthday and had to travel a bit as this park is out the way, but we knew that when we booked it, about 15 miles out of Keswick.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at Thanet Well. The lodge more than exceeded our expectations (we stayed in a Superior Lodge). The park itself is rather secluded, but with breathtaking scenery all around. There is a 'local' pub called The Boot & Shoe, around 5 miles away in Greystoke Village - a warm welcome always awaits, and the food is exceptional!

Excellent accommodation and exceptionally clean and to high standards. Be aware this is a get away from it all holiday without club house or entertainment on site. The local pub in Greystoke (3miles or so away) is very welcoming with good food and great atmosphere.

This is a great holiday and setting for those just wanting to get away from it all and hide out in a secluded part of the country in total peace and quiet. Ideal for relaxing, and I would say that the hot tubs are a perfect touch and highly reccommended for relaxing after long days out sightseeing and walking around the lakes. The location was also great for its proximity to all of the attractions within the Lake District. I would say for those wanting something with a little more to do on site and with things within walking distance, then this is not for you, but if you fancy being in the middle of nowhere hidden away with the robins and red squirrles then it's perfect!

I'd never been away at this time of year before, but the setting was beautiful and we came home relaxed and refreshed. The lodge was of a very high standard and had everything we needed - although we spent most of our time in the hot tub looking up at the stars!

We went for Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful! We had very thick snow while we were there, which for us made it even more perfect. The accommodation was lovely, and we made great use of the hot tub. We would like to thank the staff who helped us out when the car got stuck.

The lodges were superb and I look forward to returning hopefully sometime soon. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was very well maintained. The park was nice and quiet, perfect for a 'get away from it all' break! There is a lovely local pub ten minutes drive away in Greystoke.

I must say this was a very pleasant surprise, we arrived late Friday night so did not see much scenery in the dark, but it was a fantastic surprise when we woke up! The lodge we stayed in was VIP so had a hot tub, the lodge looked brand new, it was so clean and well looked after with double glazing and central heating etc - we had everything we needed. The chap came to set up the hot tub first thing in the morning too - what more could we ask for! There was a great little park onsite for my kids and the area is of breathtaking scenery. It really is in the middle of nowhere so great to get away from it all, but it is only 20 minutes away from civilisation if needed. We went on days out to Keswick, Windermere and Maryport which has a great aquarium for the kids and the food was great and affordable too! We will definitely be going back!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for my 21st birthday weekend away and it was perfect! The accommodation was incredibly clean and was immaculate! We had a hot tub, which was just amazing and the view from our lodge looked right over the hills - it was perfect!
